1997 (or MCMXCVII as us Romans call it) was a year of wonder. Bill Clinton was sworn in as President of the US for a second term and Hong Kong returned to Chinese rule. Titanic the movie came out and my neighbour played the soundtrack ENDLESSLY. E N D L E S S L Y. Day and Night. Endlessly. So much so that I never saw the movie. Offspring had several songs on the charts. Good times.
